THE BOOK
Cordelia Adams, a Ph.D. of Clinical Psychology candidate at Kings College in Manhattan presents her thesis about the link between creativity and mental illness. The subject of her "clinical" studies is her boyfriend, James Palmer, an amusing, eccentric young playwright. This two-year trial of mind was blind to the test subject until a day before her presentation. When The Playwright finds out about his secret dossier, he decides to crash her thesis defense and find out how crazy he really is.

Dr. Brassard is the Head of the Philosophy Department at King's. His tenure as a professor has been full of sermons from the Stoics, preachings from the pessimists, as well as the blissful freedom reserved only for the bachelors. After a summer break, he runs into an ex-student of his, Mia Farrelly, a playful, curious young woman, who informs him that she's interested in becoming a professor as well. The Professor mentors her, and they begin seeing each other with- no reservations.

Parker’s humourous tale, available Spring 2023, submits many of its own theses: What is madness? What is love? What is art? What is life and whom the hell says so?! The Errors of Eros is a comedic kaleidoscope of psychology, love, art, philosophy, and everything in between.
